Find a caterer or baker who are just starting out but who still have a portfolio for you to see. There is a cake person in Kingston who has been talked up on the radio for the Ride for Dad event that I looked up and she is pretty reasonable ...www.geocities.com/belairecatering

For our favours we are having a candy bar. We are going to the bluk barn and getting candy in bluk and having bagsfor them to put it in...Very good idea and inexspensive

There are lots of ways to save tons of money!
We're going to have a huge bbq with a big chunk of beef, then we'll bake potatoes (if you put them in a cooler, they'll stay hot for a super long time), caesar salad (we're making the dressing) and seasonal veggies- all really easy to put together and way cheaper than having a fancy catering company come in :)
